Meet Jughead Jones, a 1.5-year-old Basset Hound owned by Renu Sharma. Jughead was on the verge of being rehomed because of his antics. He was known to be nippy and constantly barked and howled. But the biggest concern for Renu and her family was Jughead was true to his name.
He literally EATS EVERYTHING! From socks to kids’ toys to people’s food from their plates when they would least expect it. Poor Jughead just did not know what to do. It was as if his nose would control his brain in such instances. Being the breed with one of the strongest noses in the dog kingdom, his personality or the family is not much to blame as his instincts were such. It has now been two sessions and the transformation is remarkable as you can put distractions in front of him like socks, tissues, and bread; but he would not even look towards it.
It is a moment of utter elation for Jughead and his family that they will no longer need to be separated and some regular condition can ensure eternal harmony. K9 School wishes Jughead and his family a joyous journey ahead.
